The Great Orme in Llandudno, Wales

A view of Llandudno’s The Promenade and its surrounding area. My feed is very summery right now and I thought I’d insert this gloriously sunny day we spent in North Wales. The boyfriend, his parents and I drove to Conwy and Llandudno spontaneously on a Saturday. Aside from Lourdes and London, all other weekends I had was loosely scheduled, hence, being able to just “spontaneously” go .Coming from an archipelago, I loved the fact that UK is mostly just one big island and…

Afternoon Tea at The Shard London, England

A couple of days before I left the UK for Cebu, we went back to London to celebrate a milestone. We rarely do fancy dates nor any food dates, really, so we went all out and treated ourselves to have a nice afternoon tea at United Kingdom’s Tallest Building, The Shard. To tell you truthfully, I’ve rewritten this paragraph countless times already. I started with being personal, but I ended up crying, lol. So, please forgive me if I have…

Brighton From The British Airways i360, England

Previously on The Walking Dead Ron Does Things, Ron and the boyfriend met up with their long-lost (not really) friend, Jacky and enjoyed Nando’s and rollercoasters. Now, they start their trek to the top of the world… *cue opening credits and horror BGM* I KID.   We thought it would just be a 5-minute walk because we could already see it from Brighton Pier, but it took us a good 10 minutes before we arrived. Either we’re slow walkers or…

Brighton Pier, England

We stole a day from London to meet the boyfriend and I’s grade-school friend and still close friend (thanks, technology) in Brighton.   Brighton is a seaside town and one of the southernmost towns of England. Quite honestly, I only knew of Brighton because of the YouTubers I used to follow. For some reason, most of them stayed there. I think it’s mostly because Brighton may have lower house prices compared to London but still relatively near to attend events.…

WB Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter: The Boy Who Lived

Despite being an orphan, the boy who lived found homes in many. Albeit, one may not be as welcoming (*cough* Privet Drive *cough*).       Potters’ Cottage at Godric’s Hollow Though seen and mentioned only a few times throughout the series, the Potters’ Cottage is poignant reminder of where it all began. To refresh your memory (spoilers ahead, of course): Snape was eavesdropping on Trelawney’s first prophecy (that was supposed to be witnessed by Dumbledore only) about a boy…

WB Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter: The Great Hall

“Harry had never even imagined such a strange and splendid place. It was lit by thousands and thousands of candles that were floating in midair over four long tables, where the rest of the students were sitting. These tables were laid with glittering golden plates and goblets. At the top of the hall was another long table where the teachers were sitting. Professor McGonagall led the first years up here, so that they came to a halt in a line…
