What I Wore To South Korea: Pink Leather Jacket and Ruffled Cuffs

What I Wore To South Korea: Pink Leather Jacket and Ruffled Cuffs

I’m writing 6 mini posts for my What I Wore to Korea series, which I’d like to call my own Seoul Fashion Week, ha! If you haven’t read my first day, I’ve written about it here. Today, however, we move to Everland plus my pink-and-black themed OOTD that I think is exuding cheerfulness and youthfulness (hashtag millennial pink). From pink leather jacket to ruffled cuffs, here’s day 2. Day 2 consisted of supposed rollercoaster rides and adventure. (Read my blog…

What I Wore To South Korea: Prince of Wales Check and Metallic Pink

What I Wore To South Korea: Prince of Wales Check and Metallic Pink

Let’s take a break from Korean travel posts! This one’s quite exciting for me having prepared for weeks, months even, before we flew! A bit over the top, I suppose, but layering is still challenging for me so time to prep is absolutely needed. This week’s worth of outfits gave me a chance to innovate and think outside my tropical box. I didn’t want to get too irrational and get thick clothes as I wouldn’t be able to use them…

The Best of Both Worlds at Lotte World, South Korea

As I’ve mentioned in my previous post about Everland, there are two major theme parks South Korea has to offer. Since we’ve covered Everland, it’s time to go to Lotte World! But before we enjoyed the thrill and adventure, we decided to walk beside the lake where the island is built on. Though we’ve…

Everland, South Korea’s Largest Theme Park

There are two main amusement or theme parks which come to mind when South Korea is mentioned. These are Lotte World and Everland. And as many articles there are, comparing the two side by side, we just couldn’t decide which is better. So, we chose both. First up, Everland! Everland is around an hour away from the city center of Seoul. We booked ahead through KKday for a 9am shuttle bus trip from Myeongdong directly to Everland for about KRW…

A French Rendezvous at Petite France, South Korea

Having just wandered off the magnificent little island of Nami, it was underwhelming to pay the same for Petite France. I know, that’s rather a negative way to start a blog, but it felt like a tourist trap. Little Prince welcomes you to petite france. Quaint But Overpriced Petite France is quaint, colorful and an on-point replica of a little French village. It is a 30-45 minute ride from Nami Wharf via the Gapyeong Tourist Bus, as mentioned in my…

Experiencing The Peak of Autumn in Nami Island, South Korea

Let me preface this entire South Korean trip by saying that Nami Island was first and foremost my reason why I wanted to visit. The cold crisp wind and the changing of tree colors, autumn is one of the 3 seasons that I don’t get to experience where I’m from. So to choose the place where to finally experience it, well, Nami Island seemed to be the perfect one. Naminara Republic Nami Island, or Namiseom, or Naminara Republic is a…
