In grade school, I had a bag of stationery paper. A whole stack of them. Scented, floral, plain, simple, and everything you can possibly imagine. I learned the art of trading then. In high school, we were required to keep a diary and write about our learnings from day to day. And because I’m pretty competitive, as do many others of my classmates, it easily became a who’s-got-the-prettiest and-highly-decorated diary. There were no extra points, most of us simply just loved going the extra mile. But why am I suddenly reminiscing with you?
Because I went to Craft Story.
Look at this trove, treasures untold
I was giddy with all the trinkets and crafts I found inside the newly-opened shop in Crossroads, Banilad. My stationery-trading days and diary-decorating nights came back to me, and I found myself wishing I had all that’s in-store back then.
From postcards to stickers. Sparkling gummies to BBQ sauces. Crafted soaps to linen sprays. Expect a wide range of selections from local makers carefully curated by the team behind Craft Story. There will definitely be something to tickle your fancy.

Craft Story for gifts and hauls
Birthdays and the holidays will be a little bit easier thanks to Craft Story. My personal favorite (and a happy surprise) is the paper plane temporary tattoo. I’ve been wanting to get that inked permanently but, let’s just say, I’m trying to buy time (read: I’m scared). So, this temporary tattoo will definitely help me decide should I want it forever or not. Or you know, maybe I can just buy dozens of this temporary tattoo and slap it on every now and again, haha! Maybe you can gift this one to people, like me, who have yet to decide on their permanent ink too.
Craft Story has wonderfully gifted me the products below, but I can’t wait to go back and buy that Mactan map from Inspired By. And perhaps a couple more trinkets, or 20. Who knows!
Craft Story is located at Crossroads, Banilad, Cebu and they’re open from Tuesdays to Sundays, 10am-9pm.
