Tazza Cafe and Patisserie flourishes in BTC

Tazza Cafe and Patisserie flourishes in BTC

It’s incredibly exciting when one of your favorite restaurants invites you for dinner. Tazza Cafe and Patisserie in Lahug has been my friends and I’s go-to get together venue for quite some time now. I mean, it’s where they met my boyfriend for the first time. Cute, amirite? And now, it’s been almost a year since Tazza opened their branch in Banilad Town Center, where they flourished to be the restaurant of choice by the hustlin’ and bustlin’ Cebuanos.

The Cebuano-originated cafe opened to the public back in 2014 at Lahug, beside Tsai Hotel. Since then, they’ve gained a following that they’re now blessed with a second branch in BTC. It’s no surprise as they’ve great food, large servings, and worth every cent! Don’t forget their fast internet, Instagrammable murals, and P1 cakes!

1 Peso Cake, You Heard That Right

For as long as I can remember, they have this promo in both branches wherein you can avail a slice of cake for just 1 peso. All you have to order is a main dish and a drink, and that’s it! My usual order would be Beef Stroganoff, Pink Lemonade and whatever cake that doesn’t have chocolate in it. Ha! That would be either the award-winning Yema cake, or Mango Mousse, or a recent discovery, Blueberry Tres Leches! YUM!

Tazza Cafe and Patisserie has a lot of good appetizers and main dishes that every time I visit, it takes me forever to decide which I’m getting. From their comfort food best-sellers: Beef Stroganoff and Twin Chops, to their healthier options: Torched Salmon and Quinoa Salad and Mango Kani Salad. Either way, it will surely fill you right up.

There’s also the crowd pleasers, the ones you order and munch with your friends while you catch up: Shrimp and Mango Salsa Nachos and Salmon and Cheese Dip.
