Pardon My French

Pardon my French but this outfit is too freak*ng cute!

Pardon My French

In case you missed all the yapping I did on my Instagram stories, I joined a Christmas bazaar last week with two of my co-Cebu Fashion Bloggers, Jean and Toni. We sold pre-loved clothes as part of the bazaar’s Something Trendy. There were also Something Cute and Customized, Something Yummy, Something For The Home, Something For Your Wanderlust, Something Tasty and Something Natural. It was a whole lot of fun. We were quite chuffed with the outcome, at least half of our loots were taken to a new home.

On day 1, I mostly worked from the bazaar as it wasn’t holiday just yet. I came in a slogan shirt, denim skirt and flats which I forgot to take a picture of. It was on day 2 when I decided to doll myself up.

As it was a Christmas-themed bazaar, I went with something whimsical without being over the top. This Pardon My French slogan shirt is another addition to my addiction. It has that stereotypical French stripes and letters of felt material and pink color.

I challenged myself to stay away from denim this time. I’ve been lazy with styling and I, basically, pair all my slogan shirts with a denim skirt or high waisted jeans. I opted for something whimsical which is a gray-silvery tulle skirt that I got almost a year ago! Finally, I found the perfect way to wear this. And not what I expected too.

I paired up the pink felt letters on my top with my crossbody bag. The silver chain detail was not amiss as it worked well with the tulle skirt.

I did a poll a few weeks ago on my Instagram stories asking you to pick between two shimmery shoes. Well, guess which won. This iridescent mules came to the top and was a perfect fit to complete the outfit. I couldn’t help but play around the sun, as well, seeing different colors whenever the light hits it in different angles.

I would’ve gone full french and don a beret but I’ve been wearing that non stop that you must be bored of it already. The baker boy hat was an edgy alternative, giving the outfit a different vibe other than being cutesy.

All in all, it’s become a mix of muted and vividness. This could well be your outfit inspo for your next Christmas party! What do you think?
