Some of my Cebu Fashion Bloggers girl friends and I got to try the newest additions to Gibbs’ Hot Wings already-exciting menu. To start off their month-long celebration of their anniversary, here are 5 new eats that are here to stay.
Juicy Lucy Burger Steak
Gibbs’ own-made tender beef patties has a cheesy surprise at the center, literally! Gooey cheese which compliments the juiciness of the patties and their homemade mushroom gravy. The patty sits on top of, now my most favorite, skin-on mashed potatoes. Such a perfect comfort food!
Spicy Adobo Wings
Famous for their hot wings, they just can’t help but give us more! Spicy Adobo Wings is the perfect dish for us Cebuanos born and bred! They carry that familiar taste that we’ve all had the fair share of growing up. With just the right amount of spice, this one could easily be anyone’s favorite wings!
Sausage Mac & Cheese
Another comfort food to fill us up is this Mac & Cheese or should I say, Mac & 5 Cheeses! That’s right, there are 5 different types of cheese in there perfectly coating the macaroni. And as if it wasn’t perfect enough, they also added 2 sweet & spicy sausages on top! Big fan of the sausages, I am!
Pulled Pork Tacos
Oof! This one, I’d recommend to share as there are 3 in each serving. One of which can fill you up real good, already! They tenderized the pork for 5 hours mixed it with healthy greens (and purple) plus their own concocted glaze. The flavor explosion is sublime!
Oreo Ala Mode
Deep fried batter-coated Oreos underneath a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a drizzling of chocolate syrup! Sinful and indulgent, this dessert is perfect to end your spicy hot night at Gibbs’!
Pomelo and Grape Cooler
One more as a bonus is one of my favorite additions, a pomelo and grape cooler (unofficial name, heh). I love how it’s so refreshing and just the right amount of sweet and fruity. This one’s enough for me to go visit everyday!
Gibbs’ Hot Wings is located at Streetscape, Paseo Saturnino, Banilad, Cebu City. And spot this little easter egg at their graffiti wall, will ya?
