What to Eat at Mactan Alfresco

Al fresco or in the open air, Mactan Alfresco is the outdoor dining experience at Mactan Newtown. Polygon-shaped with restaurant counters in a circle formation, you may have lechon, mexican food, sandwiches or your favorite Filipino dishes in one sitting. I managed to visit Mactan Alfresco during our staycation in Mactan Newtown which you can read up here. This one’s a quick preview of what to expect and what you might want to have during your staycation.

Mactan Alfresco at daytime. They are open for lunch and dinner, but some shops may close early such as Cebu’s Best Lechon Belly (they may have sold out on lechon).

The dishes we had were straightforward delicious, and I recommend trying them if you chance upon dining at the Alfresco. Also, if you’re lucky, have some of Orange Karenderia’s Betsy’s Garlic Chicken for me. They were out of stock when we went, sadly. Their pork BBQ is quite a hit, too, I observed.
