Today, we leave our denim jackets and bask in the unusual warmth and rare British sunlight.
Believe me when I say, I didn’t repeat any outfit in this trip. Ha! I know. First outfit post and I’m already declaring the impossibles and the obnoxious. Except, most of my outfit during this entire trip are actually dresses and jumpsuits. So forgive me if I won’t blog about my individual outfits for the whole trip as it became very repetitive.
I think that’s the compromise fashion and travel get, that’s where they meet halfway: jumpsuits and dresses. You’re set for 1 day and it only takes 1 clothing space in your suitcase. Win-win, right? Well, win-win until you want to pee. These jumpsuits, man, they’re a pain in the bladder!
But I digress. It was unbelievably warm when we went to Liverpool, which is usually a surprise for the English folk because their weather is so erratic and gloomy days are the default. Coincidentally, I dressed up very summer-y that day with my deep orange palm prints and straw hat. Despite Liverpool being seaside, I was able to take off my jacket.
After our Magical Mystery Tour, we hung out for a bit in this magnificent architecture that is the St. George’s Hall. It is just across the train station, hence, a multitude of OOTD photos. These massive Grecian pillars are something I’ve always admired and it was a small dream come true to be standing in between them.
