We’re less than 10 days away from Christmas and for those who are celebrating, gift-giving is usually a big part of it. If you’re someone who would like to give a person (girl or boy!) that is into make up something for this occasion, then this list will hopefully help you! This is perfect for those who are still starting their collection. These items also vary in price except luxury brands, I haven’t been into that realm just yet!
Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation
Out of all foundations that I’ve tried,
Urban Decay Naked Palettes
Specifically the Naked Basics palette! This is very helpful for not only those starting out but also if you want to work on neutral and wearable looks.
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer
Considered drugstore in the UK but since we don’t have it here in the Philippines, it’s quite the luxury to find it! @thebeautyjunkieph on instagram occasionally stocks up on this though, so if you’re lucky, this is one of the most effective concealers in the market right now at a very affordable price.
Ben Nye Luxury Powder – Banana
I haven’t tried this one but since Kim Kardashian’s make up artist revealed that he uses this on Kim, everyone went gaga. I would like to try one day!
Such a beautiful rose petal shaped blush! There are so much good blushes in the market right now but this one is extra beautiful because of its shape so if you would like to impress the person you want to give it to, then this one’s a pretty!
Urban Decay Glide-on Eye Pencil in NAKED 1
This has been on my wishlist for quite some time now! I haven’t found any brown eyeliner that will actually work on my water line but reviews have said this does so I’m excited. (A little bird told me my guy bought this one for me this Christmas.. heee excited!)
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I’m not too keen on using sponges because of hygienic reasons… but if lots of make up artists use it then it must be working great. Sponges are great for applying foundation as it smoothens and buffs the foundation better than brushes, so I’ll have to give this one a try!
This bit needs another article, Mac has too many shades and I’d love to have a collection! My favorites and the popular ones that I know would suit all skin tones would be Velvet Teddy, Ruby Woo, Russian Red, Diva, Whirl, Chatterbox, Mehr and Brave!
MAC Lip Pencils
Just as awesome as their mac lipsticks would be their lip pencils. Soar, Whirl, Sublime Culture, Stripdown and Stone are fan favorites and pretty fail-safe colors! MAC Cosmetics is available at Rustan’s.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
This is quite a pricey one so if you’d like a dupe, try Milani Stay Put Brow. This product is a fast-drying waterproof pomade which resists smudging and sliding, so if you want to work that strong brows, then this one will give you that!
Real Techniques Bold Metals Brushes
Real Techniques’ regular brushes are just as awesome but these bold metal ones are gorgeous! Rihanna even featured it on her BBHMM music video. Quite luxurious but do try and look into Real Techniques as they have an awesome line of make up brushes without hurting your wallet!
There you go, a list of what I want that you MIGHT want, as well, for this Christmas or New Year or Valentine’s or Birthday! I hope I’ve helped you in a way so you can shop smart this holiday!
