Model Off Duty: Denim and Braids

I have decided to start an outfit series called Model Off Duty. If you’re deep into the fashion world, you’ll know that model-off-duty outfits are just as important as on-the-runway fashion pieces. If anything, they’re more relatable than most pieces featured on fashion shows. This is why a lot of people take their inspiration from their favorite models, not strutting on the ramp but off the streets.

I would say these are similar to street style but not identical. I have this notion that street style looks are more experimental. While, model-off-duty looks are more into basics. That’s probably because models and/or celebrities would just want to be as laid back as possible when running around the city.

To start off this newly-found series, I’d like to share my love for this denim jacket and braids. I love denim jackets and your favorite models/celebrities love it too! I believe it has become a fashion staple. No surprise there as it’s versatile, definitely easy to match with anything! As for the hair, when you’re opting for something as basic like this ensemble, change your usual ponytail to a braid.
